Project Billing & Plans

View subscription status, update plans, and manage billing actions for your project.

Use Project Billing to review your active subscription, billing cycle, next renewal date, and provisioning status.

What you can do

  • Review your current plan and billing cycle.
  • Open Stripe billing portal actions for payment method and invoice management.
  • Activate a paid plan for a project that is ready to move from setup to a paid subscription.
  • Review trial timing, included access, and the first charge before starting an available 14-day trial.
  • Change to another available plan for your project.
  • Resume renewal directly when a cancellation is already scheduled.

Activate a paid plan

When a project is ready for paid access, the billing activation flow lets you choose a plan, billing cycle, and currency before payment.

1

Choose the plan

Review the available plans, included features, billing cycle, and currency.

2

Enter billing details

Confirm the account email, add optional business details, and complete the billing address so tax and payment fields can load.

3

Add a discount code if you have one

Open Add discount code in the order summary, enter the code, and apply it before confirming payment.

4

Activate the plan

Confirm the payment. The success screen shows the charged amount, discount, tax, renewal timing, and a link back to the workspace.

If you compare another plan or billing cycle after entering the billing address, the address stays in place while the order amount refreshes.

Start with a 14-day trial

When a branded pricing page offers a 14-day trial, choose the plan and monthly or yearly billing before checkout. A card is required, but the order summary shows No charge today and the exact first-charge date before you confirm. The selected plan starts immediately and converts to its regular paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.

At checkout, use How would you like to start? to compare the available options before payment:

  • Start 14-day trial shows the amount due today and the estimated first charge with its date.
  • Purchase now shows the amount charged today and begins paid access after payment succeeds.

You can switch between the two options before confirming. Hiveality keeps the checkout details you already entered and safely closes an unfinished payment setup from the option you left.

During the trial:

  • The selected plan's normal contact, website, Website AI, and voice features are available. Inbound AI phone provisioning starts after conversion.
  • Customer email activity across campaigns, flows, and direct messages shares a 1,000-send trial allowance.
  • Platform-hosted draft websites do not count as live websites. Websites with verified custom domains use the selected plan's website allowance.
  • Hiveality sends reminders as the end date approaches.

If the trial is canceled or the first payment fails, editing becomes read-only at the scheduled end of the trial. Open Billing to review the plan and update the payment method. Successful billing recovery restores editing. Connected custom domains have a seven-day recovery window before traffic falls back to the project's platform address; the saved domain setup is not deleted.

To move to paid access before the trial ends, open Billing and choose Activate plan now. Review the current plan, billing cycle, subtotal, discount, tax, amount due today, and new renewal date. Choose

Pay and activate plan only when you are ready to end the trial. If payment needs another confirmation step or is declined, the trial stays active until payment succeeds. Resume a scheduled cancellation before trying to activate early.

Change plans

When you switch plans, Hiveality applies the update and checks whether Stripe needs extra payment confirmation.

  • If no extra confirmation is needed, the plan update completes immediately.
  • If Stripe requires confirmation, you will see a secure payment confirmation step before the plan change is finalized.
  • The plan list keeps your current plan visible and labels it as current so you can verify your selection before submitting.

Renewal and add-ons

  • If your subscription is set to cancel at period end, use Resume renewal to restore automatic renewal without leaving the billing page.
  • Available add-ons appear under Add-ons. Self-serve options can be reviewed and confirmed there; options marked Assisted need help from a project billing administrator.
  • AI Concierge packages add monthly conversation credits to the plan allowance and include one managed AI phone line. Package upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades and cancellations take effect at renewal.
  • AI Concierge packages can use monthly or yearly billing. Yearly billing includes 12 monthly credit windows for the price of 10. Credits still reset each month and do not roll over.
  • For quantity-based add-ons, choose the quantity and click Update quote before confirming. The review shows the full recurring total for that quantity, the estimated amount due now, and when the change takes effect.
  • Active add-ons can be changed or scheduled for cancellation. Hiveality warns you when current usage is above the allowance the change would leave.

Review usage and capacity

The Usage and capacity area shows project-wide use and plan allowances across every website. Contacts, websites, team members, social connections, email sends, Project AI, and AI Concierge appear together so you can see what is close to its current limit.

  • Use Add capacity or Manage capacity from a usage card instead of searching the full add-on list.
  • Contact options show the total capacity after combining the plan allowance with the selected add-on. Selecting a different contact tier replaces the current tier; contact tiers do not stack.
  • Website, team-member, and social-connection options use an additional quantity. Review the exact recurring price and effective date before confirming.
  • Active social profiles are counted once across the whole project, even when the project contains several websites.
  • Use Remove extra capacity when an active add-on is no longer needed. If current use is above the resulting allowance, resolve the warning before the reduction can complete.

The public pricing comparison now includes each plan's social-connection allowance. Longer contact-capacity lists keep the first options visible and put the remaining tiers under More so they are easier to scan.

AI Concierge usage and packages

The AI Concierge usage card combines website chat, website voice, and AI phone activity across the project. It shows the current monthly allowance, credits used, and credits remaining.

  • Plan credits and package credits can have different reset dates. Both dates appear when a paid package is active.
  • Choose Add capacity or Manage capacity from the AI Concierge card to compare packages and choose monthly or yearly billing.
  • Review the package, recurring price, amount due now, and effective date before confirming a change.
  • Package upgrades and monthly-to-yearly changes can take effect immediately. Yearly-to-monthly changes, downgrades, and cancellations stay scheduled until renewal.

Tips

  • Keep your billing cycle selection aligned with the plan you intend to move to.
  • If a discount code is available for your plan, apply it before the payment fields are confirmed so the order summary can recalculate.
  • If a plan change is pending confirmation, complete that confirmation step before trying another change.
  • If checkout shows that payment already went through but setup is unfinished, use Finish setup to resume without submitting payment again.
  • For checkout and payment setup guidance, use Store Settings and Checkout Widget.
