Bulk Actions
Apply actions to multiple contacts at once.
Overview
Bulk actions appear at the bottom of the Contacts table after you select one or more contacts.
Select contacts
- In Contacts, use the checkbox column to select contacts.
- The bulk action bar shows how many contacts are selected.
- Use Select all filtered results when the action should apply beyond the current page. Hiveality collects matching contacts from the active filters before the action starts.
Available actions
- Add List and Remove List: assign or remove list membership.
- Add Tag and Remove Tag: assign or remove tags.
- Flow: add the selected contacts to an active flow and choose the starting step.
- Member menu: Invite Member, Grant Access, Revoke Access.
- Subscribers menu: Unsubscribe, Resubscribe.
- Export: download the selected contacts.
- Delete: permanently remove the selected contacts.
Export follows your selection state. You can export manually selected contacts or use Select all filtered results, then choose which details to include in the CSV.
Progress and review prompts
Large bulk actions are queued after you confirm them, then show progress while contacts are collected and processed. The progress view shows whether the action is preparing, queued, processing, reconnecting, completed, partially completed, cancelled, or failed.
Contacts also shows an active bulk-action banner while a job is still running. If the browser briefly loses progress updates, the banner switches to reconnecting while the background job continues. If you leave and return to Contacts while an action is still running, Hiveality can resume the progress view for the active action.
Open the banner to return to the progress dialog. For queued, processing, or reconnecting updates, use Cancel Job when the remaining work should stop. Contacts already processed before cancellation keep their changes.
This applies to tag, list, member invite, subscriber, access, flow, delete, and export workflows. When an action finishes with warnings or skipped contacts, review the completion message before starting another large update.
For subscriber changes, Hiveality protects addresses marked as bounced or spam complaints. If a resubscribe action finds blocked contacts, you can review a follow-up Force resubscribe prompt for only those contacts.
Add contacts to a flow
Use the Flow bulk action when selected contacts should enter a flow immediately.
After choosing a flow, select the starting step. Email and SMS steps can send right away, and delay or wait steps begin from the time you confirm the action. For email steps, leave Send even if contacts already received this email unchecked unless the message should be sent again.
Manual contact selections and Select all filtered results are both supported. Review the selected contact count before confirming the flow entry, especially when filters span more contacts than the current page shows.
