Website Migrations

Use supported migration tools to bring pages, funnels, blog posts, store products, team content, reports, and email marketing drafts into Hiveality.

Website migration tools help you bring supported source-site content into Hiveality as editable drafts.

Import blogs, products, and team content

Use Import Blogs, Store Products & Team for supported non-PatientBase source sites. The importer can discover URLs from a sitemap or homepage crawl, then lets you choose which content to import.

1

Open the content import dialog

Open the migration dialog from the builder, then choose the content import workflow.

2

Enter the source site

Add the source URL and choose a platform such as Auto Detect, WordPress, or Substack.

3

Choose content types

Select Blog Posts, Store Products, Team, or any combination you want to import.

4

Tune discovery

Add custom blog, store, or team path prefixes when the source site uses non-standard URLs.

5

Review discovered URLs

Select the discovered items to import. Add manual URLs when sitemap discovery misses a page.

6

Start import

Click Start Import. Hiveality runs selected imports in the background and links to the migration report.

Blog discovery recognizes common WordPress and Substack patterns, including Substack /p/ posts, blog subdomains, dated blog URLs, and custom blog paths you provide.

Older WordPress posts with recipe-style blocks or unusual paragraph markup keep clearer spacing between sections after import, so drafts need less cleanup before publishing.

Lagacy System migration workflows

When Lagacy System migration tools are available for your website, the migration dialog includes three workflow areas:

  • Brand Kit: extract colors, fonts, logos, and brand direction before building pages.
  • Background Migration: select source pages and create editable Hiveality pages in the background.
  • Email Marketing: validate a captured bundle and import draft flows, draft campaigns, and standalone draft emails.

During Background Migration, review the classification table before starting. Hiveality can scan selected source pages for embedded funnel details, move detected funnel pages into the Funnel classification, and show the detected step paths for review.

Use the header and footer import options when you want the source homepage header or footer copied into the new site shell before migrated pages are created.

Import email marketing drafts

1

Open Email Marketing Migration

Open the migration dialog from the builder, then choose Email Marketing.

2

Set up the Chrome package

Select Extension Setup, download the package, unzip it, and load it in Chrome from chrome://extensions with Developer mode enabled.

3

Capture from Lagacy System

Open the source Lagacy System account, capture flows, campaigns, or one-off emails, then copy or download the JSON bundle.

4

Validate the bundle

Paste or upload the JSON bundle in Hiveality and select Validate Bundle. Review any warnings before importing.

5

Choose cleanup options

Pick whether imported emails should use your global header/footer, keep the source header/footer, or remove the detected source header.

6

Import drafts

Select Import Drafts. Hiveality creates draft flows, campaigns, and emails that you can review before publishing or sending.

The capture package footer shows the installed version and includes

Download latest and Open update page actions to help you refresh the package before a larger capture session.

When captured flow names are too generic, the capture tool asks you to confirm the name and lets you rename it later. Captured email snapshots can also be matched to the first available flow email slot when the source flow is detected, which reduces manual slot cleanup before import.

For larger email marketing migrations, the capture tool can bulk capture a flow with its email previews, capture campaign rows and previews in batches, and auto-scroll longer campaign lists until the requested count is reached.

Imported email drafts now preserve more common source sections as editable blocks, including image/text/button rows, background call-to-action sections, two-column layouts, relaxed text spacing, and intentional blank lines.

When imported emails link to files such as PDF guides, Hiveality uploads those files into Files and rewrites the draft email links to use the saved file URLs.

What validation checks

Validation summarizes the captured bundle before any drafts are created:

  • Flow count, email steps, delays, campaigns, and standalone email snapshots.
  • Missing flow or campaign email snapshots that may need review.
  • External images and links that will be carried into the imported drafts.
  • Delay steps that cannot be converted cleanly and need manual review.

Review imported drafts

After import, open each created flow, campaign, or email from the result links. Confirm the subject line, images, links, timing, header/footer choice, and any warnings before publishing or sending.
