Creating courses

Start a course, assign communities, and manage details.

Create a course

1

Open Courses

Go to Courses.

2

Start a new course

Select New Course. A draft course is created and the builder opens.

Filter courses by community

Use the filter next to the header:

  • All Communities shows every course.
  • Unassigned (Not in any community) lists site-wide courses.
  • Select a community name to narrow results.

Course cards show publish status, assigned community, access or price label, lesson count, and total lesson duration when available.

Edit course details

1

Open the card menu

Use the ••• menu on a course card and choose Edit details.

2

Update the fields

Set Title, Slug, Description, and Course Cover Image.

3

Assign communities

Use the Communities checklist to select where the course appears.

4

Save

Select Update Course.

Approved assistants and Website API Key workflows can also correct a course web address when a placeholder was saved during setup. Changing this address does not redirect the previous learner link, so update any shared links and test the new sign-in path before announcing it.

Other course actions

  • Duplicate creates a copy of the course, including course-level resources, lesson resources, and drip schedules that can be matched to the copied lessons. Review the new draft before publishing it.
  • Delete removes the course permanently.
  • Preview opens the public course page.
  • Copy sign-in link copies a learner sign-in link that routes to the first lesson when one is available.
