Add lessons from the course page

Lesson list details

Each lesson shows:

• Type (Article, Video, Quiz)
• Published or Draft status
• Duration (when available)

Use the pencil button to edit a lesson or the trash icon to delete it.

Lessons inside the builder

Inside the Course Builder, lessons live under modules in Course Structure. You can:

• Drag lessons to reorder.
• Select a lesson to edit content.
• Save drafts before publishing.
• Mark a lesson as a Free preview lesson when the course has Free Preview enabled.
• Approved API and assistant workflows can move a lesson to another module, publish or unpublish it, replace its video, or remove it after confirmation.

Audio lessons are created from the Course Builder (not the course list dialog).

Free preview lesson toggle

Use the Free preview lesson toggle on lessons you want visitors to sample before full access. Course-level preview settings control whether those preview lessons are public, require sign-in, or are turned off.

Lesson resources

Open Resources inside a lesson when you want to attach supporting files, links, audio, or video.

• Use Add Files to select one or more files from File Manager.
• Use Add Link for external resources.
• Resources can also be added in batches during an approved course import or API workflow, then reviewed inside the lesson before publishing.
• The lesson header shows whether resources are already attached before you expand the section.
• Resources are also visible from the course-wide Resources panel in Course builder.
