Flow Goals
Automatically complete contacts when they reach a specific milestone.
What a goal does
A goal marks a contact as complete when they hit a specific milestone. Once a goal is achieved, the contact stops moving through the flow.
Supported goal types
- Tag Added
- Added to List
- Board Stage Changed
- Property Changed
How to set a goal (recommended)
1
Open your flow
Go to the flow you want to track.
2
Click Goal in the top bar
Use the Goal button to open goal settings.
3
Choose a goal type
Pick the milestone that represents success.
4
Configure the goal
Select the tag, list, board stage, or property value you want to watch for.
5
Save the goal
Click Set Goal (or Update Goal if one already exists).
Good use cases
- Stop a nurture flow once a contact books
- End a sequence once a contact reaches a board stage
- Stop follow-ups once a tag or list is applied
Notes
- Only one goal can be set per flow.
- If you change the goal type, update the existing goal before saving.
- Existing Tag Added goals respond to normal tag changes again. Imports still respect Trigger flows for imported contacts, so a tag added during an import does not complete a Flow unless that option is enabled.
