Add a Video widget

In the page editor, open Widgets.
2
Drag Video
In Media, drag Video (video icon) onto the page.
3
Open Video Settings
Click the widget and choose Video Settings.
Video Settings
Tabs include:
- Video: set Video Source to Upload Video or External Link. Use Video URL to paste an external link, or click Click to select video to choose an upload. Add a title in Enter video title and set thumbnails using Select Custom Thumbnail / Change Custom Thumbnail.
- Playback: toggle Show Title, Autoplay, Loop, Muted, and Show Controls. When controls are on, choose which buttons appear (Play Button, Seek Back Button, Seek Forward Button, Mute Button, Volume Slider, Captions Button, Fullscreen Button, Time Display, Timeline/Progress Bar, Playback Speed, Picture-in-Picture Button, Quality Selection).
- Border: adjust border radius and shadows.
Thumbnail behavior
- Uploaded videos can use the default generated thumbnail, a timeline thumbnail, or a custom uploaded thumbnail.
- External videos can use the provider thumbnail or a custom uploaded thumbnail.
- When autoplay is off, custom external thumbnails display as a click-to-play poster before playback starts.
Published loading behavior
- Uploaded Video widgets show their poster or selected thumbnail while the hosted player loads.
- Links that use Video in the link selector can open a library video or supported external video in a lightbox. The player loads only after a visitor clicks the link.
- Video backgrounds in rows and columns show a poster first and wait until the section is near view before loading, except for above-the-fold sections.
- Keep a clear thumbnail or poster on important videos so published pages still look intentional while media is loading or when motion is reduced.
