Update fields, tags, lists, boards, subscriptions, or other flows.
What this step does
An Action step updates contact data or related workflow state so the rest of the system stays in sync.
How to use it (recommended)

Add an Action step
Add an Action step where you want data to update.

Choose the action
Select what should change (field, tag, list, board, etc.).

Test with one contact
Trigger the flow once and confirm the update applies.
Common actions
- Update a custom field
- Add or remove tags
- Add or remove lists
- Add a contact to a board, move the contact to a board stage, or remove the contact from a board
- Start another flow
- Mark a contact as unsubscribed
Tips
- Only update what you need (avoid too many changes in one step).
- Test with a single contact to confirm the action applies correctly.
- If an action starts another flow, test with one contact first so you can confirm the next flow starts at the expected step.
- If an action changes a board, verify the target board and stage before publishing.
