Connect Twilio to send SMS messages from your website and automation workflows.

Open the dialog

Configure sending

• Enter the From Number in E.164 format (for example, +15551234567).
• Enter your Account SID and Auth Token.
• Select Save to store the number and credentials together.
• After saving, select Verify credentials to confirm the connection.
• The saved Account SID loads when you reopen the dialog. The Auth Token stays hidden and does not need to be entered again unless you change the Account SID or reconnect.
• Use Disconnect to remove the saved connection.

Prepare a sender for live messages

SMS sending also needs a business identity, an SMS program, and a ready sender. Create or review the website-wide identity, program, and disclosure under

Website Settings → SMS Messaging, then return to Twilio and complete SMS sender readiness.

• Choose the public sender identity recipients should recognize.
• Select the number type and confirm the carrier-registration state.
• If your Twilio setup uses a Messaging Service, add its service ID.
• Save only after confirming the number belongs to the connected Twilio account and the selected registration state is accurate.

A Flow SMS safely skips when its selected sender is not active or its carrier registration still needs attention.

Test SMS

• Enter a To number and optional message.
• Save the connection, then select Send Test SMS to confirm delivery with the stored credentials.

Notes

• This is a bring-your-own Twilio connection.
• Credentials are stored encrypted and are not shown again after save.
• Forms and Flows still enforce the saved consent program, active suppressions, and sender readiness at send time.
